Course (Mass Communication)

Seats 30, Eligibility : Graduate in any Discipline with 45% marks, Program Duration : 2 Years (Full-time)
Admission Procedure: Admission to the course shall be made on the basis of written test comprising of subjective and objective type questions. Written test shall be in Hindi and English for testing General Awareness and Communication Skill.

Fee Details: Rs.20,000 (TenThousand only per semester), Rs. 1500 Examination fee.

Master of Mass Communication (MMC) is a two year (full time) annual programme designed to meet the growing demands for media professionals in the country. The ongoing structural reforms, brought about by new economic policy, has placed media at the centre stage in information sharing processes intermingled with the fast improving technologies. Keeping this in view, the course to prepare and shape up Media Professionals who can contribute significantly in this field. The MMC programme aims at providing the media world with highly trained and motivated professionals with high journalistic approach, capable of maintaining and developing the new skills in communication technology as well as equipping the students with professional proficiency in the field of Mass Communication with special emphasis on Electronic and Print Media. This course helps in preparing the students who have a natural aptitude towards the media or are creatively inclined to excel in professional Television/Radio production and other related activities. The Department is one among the very few in Indian Universities which is well equipped with an state-of-the-art ALL DIGITAL TELEVISION STUDIO.
