- Annual Fee: Rs. 21,000
- Admission Procedure: The admission to M.Sc. courses shall be made through merit based on Written Test through Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test (PUCAT). All matters relating to admission shall be dealt with by the Admission Committee constituted for the purpose by the University.
- Eligibility: All candidates, who have passed B.Sc. with any two of the following subjects Geology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Life Sciences (Zoology and/or Botany) or equivalent bachelor courses from a recognized university/institutions are eligible for admission. Preference will be given to candidates who have studied Geology at B.Sc. level.

The admission to Ph. D. degree is made through Purvanchal University Combined Research Entrance Test (PUCRET). Candidates who have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) or JRF or INSPIRE fellowship shall be exempted from the test.
