    The Department of Business Economics as an integrated management programme, it has unique course curriculum as per the requirement of the corporate. The course aims at to develop analytical and entrepreneurial skill amongst the students. It also provides a platform to explore innovation, creativity and professionalism to the upcoming management aspirants. The present area of globalization and liberalization witnessed a revolutionary change in the domestic as well as in the global economics scenario. Indian economy is increasingly becoming market oriented economy in which private sector is going to play a prominent role. So there is large scope for job opportunity can be expected in private sector. This has asked for a different set of professionals having a sound knowledge of business, industry and economy. Keeping this in view, V.B.S. Purvanchal University has been conducting a highly professional Post graduate Programme in MBA (Business Economics) since 1998. Earlier this course was known as MBE in the campus.

    The department has consistently endeavored to provide students with strong conceptual and analytical skills, in order to inculcate proficient managerial capabilities in them. So that they are in a position to evaluate the efficacy of various tools applied in different functional areas of management in regard to their contribution to the economy.The academic pedagogy is such, as to create an environment where learning is facilitated and chances for self expressions and introspection are plentiful.
