    Computer Laboratories

    The Department  has two well equipped computer laboratories. The system installed is core i5, 4GB Ram, 1 TB HDD, 15.6 colour monitor with multimedia and internet. There are around 100 computers and too high end servers, Laser and DeskJet printers.

    Library

    The central library is enriched with management books and journals. The Faculty of Management Studies has also a faculty library enriched with management books and journals of national and international reputes.

    (C) Conference Room

    The Department has a state of the art conference/seminar room to conduct seminar/workshop/campus interviews.

    Meeting Hall

    State of the art meeting hall to arrange meetings with Corporate/Resource persons etc.

    Hostel

    Limited hostels seats are available inside the campus for both boys and girls. Interested students can apply for it while taking admissions.

    Support Facilities Of The Faculty

    Scholarship

    We provide almost free education to all the students who belong to the unprivileged and weaker sections of the society. We pursue and students get grants from the government for the tuition fees as per the rules and regulations of the state govt. Last year, hundred percent students (applying for scholarship) have been benefited by this scheme.

    Training & Placement

    Since its inception the department has been instrumental in shaping the training and placement needs of the student and with our sincere efforts we have been able to place our students in esteemed organizations. With several professional departments coming up, a combined training and placement cell has been set up to manifold the training and placement activities.

    Distinguished Features Of The Department

    Shvem : Incorporating Ethical Values Among Budding Managers

    A Special Cell on Human Values and Ethical Management (SHVEM) was established under the patronship of Prof. S.K.Chakraborthy, IIM,Kolkatta. The cell emphasises on imparting ethical values in modern management so that the students develop into morally conscious citizens of tomorrow. This is achieved through regular organization of co-curricular activities that help in inculcating human values in modern management learning.

    Quality Circles : Initiative For Self Development

    Students have formed their own Quality Circles to improve their academic and extra curricular base. The various Q.C’s    are Prabandh Vidya Q.C, Career Shapers Q.C, Lakshya Q.C  etc. Each   Q.C. meets   every   month   to   discuss   the improvement in the activities under it’s domain. Besides, open house session among students and faculty is organized every month for improvement of the system.

    Extension & Consultancy Division : Providing Solutions To Corporate Problems

    Knowledge developed by research finds it’s application through consultancy activities in solving intricate problems of corporates. The extension activities strengthen our commitment towards the socio-economical development of the region.

    Entrepreneurial Development Centre (EDC) : Nurturing Budding Entrepreneurs

    The Entrepreneurial Development Centre (EDC) of the department  provides short term training programmes to the small and medium scale entrepreneurs to develop their enterprises and foster economic growth of the region.

    Autumn Fest : Refining Cultural Talents

    A cultural extravaganza “Autumn Fest” is organised every year in the month of November which brings out the latent talents and nurtures the creativity of the students.

    Managing Through Committees : Involving Students In Decision-making

    A number of committees including Placement Committee, Notice Board Committee, Tour Committee etc are voluntarily formed by the students who work on the objectives of the respective committee.
